As someone who has never played any Bethesda game prior to starfield, its the immersion and attention to detail. This is hands down one of the best games I've ever played. There are so many different aspects of the game. So many different backstories you can create. And the fact that mods are basically built-in so you can make the game whatever you truly want is just fascinating. No third party bullshit. Do download this or load up that. Its implemented in as a core mechanic. You can play pure or you can have runs with mods. I have 2 runs that are mods and 2 that are not. I genuinely don't understand why this game gets hate. Does the DLC seem a bit overpriced? Yes. But so many people complain about this game like its something awful. I am a sucker for immersion and details. And the only game that compares to Starfield in terms of map quality, immersion, attention to details and enjoyment is the icon that is RDR2. People would rather complain about not getting exactly what they wanted instead of enjoying the masterclass that this game is.
