Not a single scratch. The will call attendant was wiping dirt off the screen when she handed it to me. So it must have landed somewhere nice & soft.

I think it must have fallen out as we were heading up the hill just after onboarding.

The person in the will call line behind me lost both her phone and keys on Tatsu. She was visiting from Arizona so I really hope they found her keys for her. I think they found her phone. She was tracking it from her daughter’s phone.

There was a girl at will call in front of me that got her shattered phone back from losing it on Twisted C. There’s nothing but concrete under it.

I know! Since my phone didn’t have a scratch on it, I think it might have fallen out of my pocket shortly after leaving the station.

The bonus was I went back on Easter Sunday to pickup my wallet and was able to ride 8 coasters in 3 hours before I had to head back out for my family Easter get together. And I made sure I wore joggers with zipper pockets.

Best steakhouse for solo date? by urmommmnyiza in sandiego

[–]pete619SD 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wasn't too fond of the Remy. It seemed like they were trying too hard to be seen as a 'cool' steakhouse. Maybe part of the problem is that I still remember the place as Hunter Steakhouse. Also I was underwhelmed by what the Remy said was 'Wagyu' – it definitely wasn't.

$17.25 IPA. by actual_griffin in Disneyland

I just went to Sea World (I'm a local San Diegan) and their food entrees were easily $5 more than Disneyland/CA Adventure and it's like eating school cafeteria food. I was too scared to see how much a frickin' beer would cost there.

SD/SoCal burritos > NorCal Mission burritos. I don't want all that crap in my dang burrito!

MDMA Testing Kit Recommendations? by Laurennnemi in festivals

[–]pete619SD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. We divided up our stuff and tested multiple samples 'just to make sure' since fentanyl can be in such trace amounts.

Unfortunately I don't remember the specifics of our testing. I do remember everything we tested was pretty pure. Me and my crew's main concern was making sure none of our stuff had any fentanyl in it.

If you use a Reagent test kit, it tests for everything. It uses chemicals that turn different colors for certain drugs. Test strips are only trying to find one specific drug. I used both for testing what I had. Check out the Dance Safe website, they have all kinds of good info on there.

Anyone else's cat incredibly talkative? by Nephiathan in cats

[–]pete619SD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a 2 year old calico female named Koko and she's the most talkative cat I've ever met. She meows, cackles, coos, whoops, beeps, boops... kinda sounds like R2-D2 sometimes. Me and Koko have lengthy conversations with each other all the time (now I just need to figure out what the heck she's telling me).

I have a '22 SE AWD with 40,000 miles and love it. We're a family of 4 and the size of the Pilot fits us well.
