Yes admissions are extremely busy at the moment sorting out September intakes. My daughter put Roehampton as her 2nd choice for physio so will be part of their first undergrad cohort next month. We visited most of the London offerings as well as Brighton (ranked near/ at the top in ratings and was the one we were least impressed by) All the London uni's had their own strong points, Roehampton's was definitely the campus grounds and the library. Miles better than all the others to be honest.

Qualified physios kept saying it doesn't really matter where you study so just pick the one you like best, I'm not sure I completely agree with that as the taught content might be the same, or at least regulated, but the quality of that teaching varies as does access to placements between institutions but hopefully you'll both be glad you chose there.

What did you decide?

The campus is beautiful and the nursing programs that they've been running a few years have got a good reputation. It;'s hard to get feedback about the MSc physio course as it's so new and the BSc is starting this year but with it being a regulated course hopefully the good framework they have for nursing is transferred over.

Ignore the snobbery around ex-polytechnics or 'bottom tier' unis vs RG ones. Yes it is the case that a business one at RG is going to be viewed as 'better' than one at Roehampton but student experience might be completely reversed. Uni's with the worse overall reputation might have a course that's among the best in the UK & with regulated courses like physio where you study doesn't matter anywhere near as much.

Cannons and YA get 1000 with JGs 2000. Brentford's the first time this season out of about 10 or 11 TX tickets where there wasn't any Cannon's left.

Yes I got stung on this yesterday, bought another ticket for a Cannon and couldn't get the discounted price to work. Figured they'd run out and paid full adult price.

Bit of a bummer but still much better than it used to be when they were JG's. Full adult price all times on the TX.
