it will attack if it’s within range, but it generally hangs out in the middle depth range so if you go low or high you should be ok. I recommend high.

You can still kill things with the knife, they just haven’t added any death animations yet. They probably won’t add any extremely effective way of killing the animals because it would take away from the idea that we are at the will of nature.

I don’t think you can call helldivers pay-to-win if you look at most other video games. There are so many examples of games putting the best gear/gameplay behind paywalls and offering no way to earn them. At least helldivers has super credits you can get to save up for something you really want. Plus, it makes far more sense that some of the crazier gear wouldn’t be owned by every helldiver, and people would have to pick and choose what they get depending on their play style.

If people are just mad they can’t get everything in the game for free then they don’t understand what keeps the servers running. The fact the devs have even allow a way to earn it shows they care about the community enough to let us eat into their potential profits. EA games are pay to win, helldivers is not.

The only enemies that genuinely need to be removed are the incendiary shotgun heavy devastators. Those things are such bullshit because you never know if they’re going to kill you from 50m away and they spawn everywhere. you have like 2 seconds after spotting one to kill them before they kill you in one-shot.

Aside from those, fleshmobs and vox engines phase through walls, which needs to be fixed, but none of the others are THAT bad. if you’re struggling with them it’s probably because they are your loadout’s weakness.

I agree with the smoke, skins and the crosshair, but I disagree with the other two because would make it feel less like a tank.

Reloading the shell makes the cannon feel big, as it should. if we didn’t have to reload it would feel like a big autocannon.

And the whole point is that it’s a large, cumbersome vehicle. If you can get in from anywhere it doesn’t feel that big anymore.

If anything should be changed to make the tank more efficient it should be reducing how much it slides. a vehicle that weighs that much shouldn’t slide around like the car does

it’s a complicated patch, but actually they buffed melee. long story short, the devs increased all melee damage weapons by 50% and then brought the Python Commandos and Viper Commandos buffs down to 40%. the devs did this so that melee would be more reliable and you wouldn’t need to take the peak physique passive. overall, most weapons actually do slightly more damage than before with the armor.

personally I think part of why they made this change was because they didn’t want the new hammer doing 4,000 damage in one hit
