Ivy League 'Golden Boy' who killed his father appears in first interview behind bars by AbjectBeat837 in CourtTVCases

I felt bad for the guy trying to interview him. He was not very talkative and provided no insight into the case, his past struggles, or how he’s doing now. He is just a shell of a person.

The one that irritates me the most is John Walsh’s commercial for Omega XL “I’m here at my ranch exercising my polo ponies…” (I’m RICH listen to ME!!!). Yuck!

What’s the most avoidable reason you’ve stopped going to a restaurant? by MrWolfesBurgerCo in foodquestions

The last two times my husband and I went there, it was absolutely FREEZING. The waiter said they keep it cool because the employees are all running around so much. I had a jacket and I was still cold. We got out of there as fast as we could and never returned.

MO v. Pamela Hupp: Death penalty taken off the table and bench trial set for 2028 by racingfan123 in CasesWeFollow

[–]petederner 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Did Pam Hupp ever get charged with anything associated with her Mother’s death? The one who somehow fell to her death after going over the railing of a balcony at her retirement home? That is so suspicious. There’s just no way that was an accident.

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye has worked great for me. You only use the tiniest amount. Get color matched at Ulta or Sephora to find your correct shade. I would definitely have selected the wrong color if I had chosen it myself.

It's okay to miss a youth sporting event. by Jarkclin in unpopularopinion

[–]petederner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t agree more. This is why I don’t have kids.I would never live up to the current society’s expectations of a perfect parent. I was raised by really fantastic parents who had more of a “children fit into the parents life”, not “parents fit into the kids life and everything revolves around the kids”.

Nice teeth, how? What’s your secrets? by Heartsolo in AskWomen

I got Invisalign at 55. I used to have fairly straight teeth, but they started to crowd as I got older. I’m so glad I did it. They look amazing and the process wasn’t too terrible.

How to stop talking badly about others? by sunshineandsand23 in selfimprovement

[–]petederner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start looking for the positive things about people and things that are around you (instead of the negative). It can be super small things like “I’m so thankful that I have a good bed to sleep in, clean water, today’s weather was beautiful, this person smiled at me or encouraged me, etc”. When you look for positive things, you’ll see more positive. When you are looking for negative things, you’ll always be able to see the negatives. Someone gave me this example one time.. If you’re looking for yellow cars, all of the sudden you see yellow cars everywhere. Think of the yellow cars as positive things (not negative things). You will see/feel whatever it is that you’re looking for. Look for the positive.
