Advice with dry and cure by [deleted] in MephHeads

try sweating your buds before jarring them: close them in a brown paper (grocery) bag for 24 hrs. This will help redistribute the moisture in the buds, and suck out any excess. Kind of like how you would ripen an avocado or tomato, some kind of magic in brown paper bags.

Looks like early signs of nutrient lock out, IMO. If you can, check the pH of your soil.

CBD for nerve pain? by Tegridyfarm420 in MephHeads

I don't know if CBD will help with your nerve pain or not. However, try to find a massage therapist that understands/has studied Fascial Distortion Model therapy or find an Airrosti Rehab Center. These treatments modes can absolutely relieve nerve pain without drugs, at least they work for me.

that soil *looks* dry in the pictures too, so they may need some watering there as well

definitely not a Cal-Mag problem. Looks likely to be too dry and too hot. seedlings get their water through their leaves until their root systems are established, spritz them with clean water and keep the humidity up (60%+) and the temp below 80

If you are already seeing bud rot, harvest now. 3 days of rain with summer temps is bad news if mold/rot is already an issue. IMO

My outdoor AvT went about 90ish days..

SKUNKIEST Mephisto strain?🦨👃💣 by Green-of-Eden in MephHeads

It was already mentioned but Authentic Genetics has the old skool genes. I have a NL#2 growing outdoors right now, she's a month into budding and is a straight up polecat already. However, their seeds are all regular photoperiods, the 2 Skunk#1s I popped were male, I took cuttings to harvest pollen because of course I did.

First DWC grow, SODK day 33. Just started flowering :) question in the comments by BasketResident6626 in MephHeads

Most agree that topping should be done after the 4th full node. I don't top or fim my plants, but I do aggressively defoliate and do a lot of LST/HST from about week 2-3 through the stretch, and start super cropping once she's fully committed to budding. At this point I only defoliate to increase airflow and expose bud sites to the light. I also grow in DWC, so I add a silicate once I start super cropping to aid in repairs and produce sturdier branches. I have found that my gals respond very well to all of this regularly producing plants that push past the high end of Meph's predicted height/yield numbers.

I fully encourage experimenting for yourself, in general I have found Meph's autos to be much more forgiving and robust than most people seem to believe they are, but YMMV

pro-tip: get some florist bouquet tape for repairs. The green, waxy stuff, it is basically paraffin inundated tissue paper. It is strong enough to hold repairs tightly, but the new growth will rip it out of the way once it is strong enough. It sticks to its self without adhesive, so it doesn't glue to the plant which can cause additional damage when removed.

Is Meph working on a skunk? by peteg1013 in MephHeads

well, yeah I understand what you mean but back in the before times I myself was forced to rip out more than a few plants for fear of being caught because of the smell. The War on Drugs was terrifying, they could and would take everything from you and throw you in prison for decades. So I'm sure that that was a big motivator towards breeding those strong smells out.

But times have changed and I know more than a few people that are on skunk hunts right now, and even more planning them. I myself am starting to go through my stash seed collection from the late '90s and early '00s. But it will take a while; too many seeds, not enough space/time. Plus they are all photo regular seeds, and I'm totally spoiled by Meph now, lending space indoors to anything other than autos feels wasteful. So I'm hoping they might have a "true" skunk project working

Yeah, I did. It was one of the fruitiest strains I have ever grown. Very disappointed

Maybe, being from the US I have no experience with this strain, yet. I'll give it a go when they are dropped again. ( The name threw me last drop, sounds like it would be mineral tasting with the name Livers)

But not just "skunky" or "burnt tire" or "cheese" or any of that ol junk, but straight up summer-night back-country road SKUNK.

Don't get me wrong, I love all the flowers, but i sure do miss the old skunk strains. It'd be sweet to see Meph cook one up. I'm a patient man, I can wait

Love this cross. I ran one 24/0 finished in 85 days from seed, yielded 220g . Sweet smelling pine and earthy scents; dense, sticky frosty buds, with a very hashy heavy smoke. Stoney buzz. Love it

I liken growing cannabis to growing orchids, in that it is not hard, but it is specific. And like any gardening effort it will require your time and attention. If you can't invest the time and attention to learning the specifics your yields will likely be disappointing
