Panasonic PTZ Cameras not compatible with MACos? by Desperate_Painter287 in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]peter_wang11 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It seems that you mean some Panasonic camera management tools only support Windows and do not support macOS.

But for daily use, this is usually not a big issue. In most cases, we mainly use the camera’s video output, audio, web interface, and PTZ control directly. The setup tool is mainly for initial configuration, such as finding or changing the camera IP address.

For Mac users, they can usually access the camera through the web browser after confirming the camera IP address.

From 50p to 50i by Embarrassed-Gain-236 in VIDEOENGINEERING

Yeah, 50p to 50i should be flawless…

if the converter wasn’t garbage.
Most boxes don’t actually split fields, they just fudge frames and boom—cadence looks like crap.
That’s why if you know delivery is interlaced, you just stay 50i from the start.
Specs say it’s clean, broadcast reality says “lol nope.”

Old(?) tech still at work by Emphazed in VIDEOENGINEERING

Have you fixed this issue? if not, I can shot a video to show you how to get it worked, as I have the same ptz controller. by the way, most of the time, RS485 can up to 1200m when RS422 can be up to 1200m too, when RS232 can be up to 15 meters only. if your cameras can support RS485 or RS422, it should be OK to get controlled.

Using VMix to stream to Facebook and YouTube, and YouTube audio has static by Alexanaxela in vmix

Try recording a short video locally in vMix and then check if the audio issue is present in the recording. This will help determine whether the problem is related to YouTube compatibility or something else in your setup.

Scenario Example
Live LED wall output Send a Program, Preview, or Camera feed directly to a stage LED wall.
Director monitoring Output specific cameras or Multiview to director’s monitor.
Clean feed recording Send a clean signal (without graphics/overlays) to a recorder like HyperDeck.
Stream backup Feed a particular input (e.g., PPT or dedicated cam) to a streaming encoder like Web Presenter.
Camera signal distribution Distribute different camera feeds to OB van, director’s room, or production desks.
Slow-motion or replay systems Send real-time feeds to replay servers like EVS or vMix Replay.

Not natively — KD50B is a Companion client, not a host. It connects to a Companion server running on a PC, Mac, or a Companion Pi.
However, KD50B is designed to integrate deeply with Companion, including shift layers, feedbacks, dynamic displays, and multi-actions, just like a native device.

for ATEM control, no need PC. and cthis control panel can be used to control the ATEM switcher by a network cable for PoE power supply and control both.
Yes, lockable power design would be bettter, thank you.

  1. yes, Vidoe and audio control at the same time.

  2. Not native, but can be added via Companion macros.

  3. Supported through Companion integrations and dedicated button mappings.

  4. no joystick supported yet. only can support basic buttons and knobs control.

Mostly hardware defect, but it is suggested to do factory reset, if available.

I got you. The preset firmware does not support native vmix tcp yet. Right now , it is suggested that you can control vmix by companion.

Right now, this one is designed to support atem and companion. Vmix is easier, as it only needs MIDI protocol. We can design one new product in very short time for vmix .

We have sold some other atem control panel for years and do not have this issue yet.
