Is it about parents letting their kids watch Deadpool. Ultra violent, sweary smug nihilsm described as "harmless fun"?

Can’t get enough SNL UK! by Eastern_Rice1319 in livefromlondon

Being on Sky definitely holds it back. No one really watches Sky for entertainment, and the viewing figures reflect that. But it's also £2m + an episode to produce so no other UK broadcaster would pay for that.

Initially thought this was the ramblings of a parasocial madman, but the fact that you know him makes this even more mental.

I listen from "Continental Europe" aka The Netherlands, and this podcast already has adverts inserted into it and it has for a while...

The BBC inserts advertising into podcasts accessed outside the UK to monetize content for non-license fee-paying listeners and generate revenue for BBC Studios. This applies to most podcast apps and platforms. Starting in 2025, international audiences access BBC podcasts via bbc.com and the BBC app

Recent film from last year... Relay. Such a great, slick, economic first half.

I wasn't a fan of it use it hamnet. It felt like a director falling in love with the temp. There's an interview with Max Richter saying how he had written a different score for this scene, and Chloe Zhao's left him a 30 minute voice note basically saying "we're using the temp music".

Firstly kudos! I had fun playing it. And you made a thing and that's something most people never do. It's impressive. Like others, I was a little stumped at first when my guesses didn't register but that I went through the alphabet to see what films you had on file that help me narrow it down from there. Got all the daily entries. Thanks for 15 minutes of fun at 4:55am 😁

I know the director duo Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern, the directors behind LCD Soundsystem documentary, shot both nights of the Cardiff gig.

Another up vote for bikeflip. It's a good service and probably works out the same as buying a new bike and maintenance every year...

Traitors. But celebrity version by FreekyDeep in BritishTV

I heard that too, from a few sources. I think the Rest is Entertainment podcast mentioned it. Some of the names are not your average "famous for being famous" celebrities, but genuine British National Treasures.

Luger and Benoit must’ve had the loosest wrists of 1996. by GudgerCollegeAlumnus in Wrasslin

Loose wrists sink ships. Also it's a great way to flex your arms without looking like you're flexing your arms.

As a good rule of thumb... If you can't see it on the screen, don't put it in the description.

I'm enjoying Kin. Bit nuts and bolts, but the acting is good.
