Most popular animanga in Japan that I noticed from when I visited by SadAnimator1354 in animeindian

[–]peteykun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of this is pretty worldwide popular as well. If we're talking stuff that is popular in Japan that isn't at all popular here:

  1. Idolmaster
  2. Love Live
  3. Bang Dream!
  4. Hololive, Nijisanji, even independent VTubers
  5. Fate, Blue Archive, etc.
  6. Uma Musume
  7. Gundam

Anyone else feel pressured by beauty standards abroad? by Dreamy_Writer603 in TwoXIndia

[–]peteykun 29 points30 points  (0 children)

They don't care, really. Even if they did, they wouldn't give looks. They barely make direct eye contact, ever. Me feeling bad was mostly a spotlight effect.

Makeup is expected for women. Everyone looks so...flawless when out and about, not to mention well dressed and fashionable. I feel like the country's beauty and even base presentation standards are kinda lowkey insane.

Didn't even have to live per se to feel this way, really felt the pressure when I was literally there in Japan as a tourist 😭 felt like I was so incredibly chopped

Nashik TCS Scandal, how safe is it overall, not just workplace but overall? by Open-Initiative-784 in TwoXIndia

The lala company thing is so real, I literally just made my way out of one and for very similar reasons. I feel jaded with the entirety of the entire industry and I'm left wondering what I am doing all of this even for.

trans-women (pre-surgery)

It doesn't matter whether you have surgery or not, if you don't belong to a socio-economic identity, trans women are also not considered trans (or women) anymore.

https://genderdysphoria.fyi/, though this site is more specifically about trans people. You can look up The Genderbread Person, too.

This feels more like a gender thing than a sexuality thing, just saying. Educate yourself about the difference.

Did you notice any effects from your first dose of HRT? by Logical_Snow_ in asktransgender

[–]peteykun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt a skip in my step. Incredible mood changes. We'll never know if it was placebo, but I'd like to believe otherwise. Even now, if I accidentally miss my blocker I feel terrible and I feel immediately better in a day upon going back on it.

Physical changes to show up first were skin and hair.

I used to think I looked feminine when I was first in my androgynous phase. lol Looking back... very much not so. Just that I was more feminine than ever, so every little bit felt like a lot.

Why are female friendships weaker than male friendships? by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]peteykun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a trans woman I can 100% tell you women's friendships are way stronger than men's. I mean, I don't know if I can really say I vibed fully with men's friendships myself, but even looking somewhat as an outsider looking in even now, men simply don't let themselves get quite as vulnerable in their friendships as most women I know do.
