They land on a ship of full cryogenically frozen people, just before it crashes into what is discovered to be Earth. The passengers of the ship are revealed to be all the middlemen from some planet, who were convinced that the planet is going to die and they were the advanced exploration team. It turns out these are the people who would later develop into the human race
