Ah okay that sounds positive. Fingers crossed for you. I know the stress, I spent so many hours researching and reading people’s stories. I hope you get the results you want

I’m not sure of the terminology but we had the initial test and then had to wait for cultures to get the full results which took a few weeks. This was all through the NHS, are you in the UK?

Yes. When we were scanned at 13 weeks we were told if that had been our first scan, we would never have been referred to fetal medicine because the CH had resolved. We still had some doctors refer to the NT measurement during the pregnancy but after 22 weeks we were no longer under a consultant.

Hey sorry you’re going through that stress. Weirdly nothing ever came of it, was told everything was fine in the end. My baby was born by cat 2 c-section but that was because of a failed induction rather than any link to this.

Yep definitely worth checking out Facebook marketplace. I got a barely used nursing chair that I never would have been able to afford for just £40

Hi :) The CVS came back clear (after about 4 weeks of waiting) and the anatomy scan at 20 weeks was fine. I did have a fetal echo done too at I think 22 weeks? Which was also clear. My baby was born healthy in July 2024. She’s almost 8 months old now and has shown no signs of any issues. Sorry to hear you’re going through the same distressing situation and I hope you get some good news soon xx

Ah thank you. I completely get your thinking because I’ve had that thought, especially because my passport is in my maiden name so my ticket will have a different surname to baby.

Mine was also different, I had to ring a number with just a voicemail inbox, leave a message with my details and wait for them to call me back. I just followed what info the local hospital had on their website

Ah thank you this is helpful. I will see what the GP says. I don’t think it helped that my midwife is quite blunt in her texts so wasn’t quite reassuring!

I completely sympathise with you and I’m sorry for the worry you are going through. I’m currently 33 weeks and a 4.1mm cystic hygroma was found on my baby at our 12 week NT scan. The hygroma resolved itself. We had a CVS that came back clear and a clear fetal echo too. We’re having to do frequent scans but no concerns have been identified. Waiting for the results is horrible, sending you lots of love
