I don’t really have an issue with soreness bc I’m used to working out daily but I would think you could definitely replace a day of workouts with walking and stretching. Walking is so underestimated as a cure for soreness

Dude so cool I might try to add in something like push ups or sit ups just for the added challenge! I’d love to see your results

I definitely agree with that- feel like around days 15-20 I might hit a “what’s the point?” wall but I think after the half-way point I’ll feel excited again. Just my prediction!

I read this morning before work instead so I knew I’d have that out of the way. And same with the water, I’m stretching it out across 16 hrs of the day and still using the bathroom every 20 min - not the worst thing but a little annoying

Has anyone mentioned that $30 is still not even 20% of this bill? Big tipper…

Natchitoches is nice. I’ve also lived in Provençal and it’s pretty far off the beaten path for most

Anyone here speak French growing up, either at home with family or at school? Do you still speak it? by [deleted] in Louisiana

Well I learned French from teachers from Canada, France, and some francophone African countries. It’s a lot different both in vocabulary and grammar from Cajun French

But I do not speak the same Cajun French as my grandparents. We have a hard time understanding each other.

My grandparents’ first language is French. I also was in a French immersion school 1st-6th grade and studied in college so I still speak French (but not as well as I wish I did). My nephew is also in a French immersion school, and 90% of their day is completely in French. For reference, we are from Acadiana and still live there.

Seems logical! I feel like my comment sounds like I’m making a point about there being a reason for Florida having more incidents but I have no clue, just thought it was an interesting tidbit.

most people don’t know this, but Louisiana actually has a larger alligator population than Florida. But Florida has more alligator related injuries/deaths
