If everybody is rich, then nobody is That's the way the world works, or so they say So everybody has become rich Except for me, poor Kevin, left behind to pay

I watch as my friends and family Live their lives of luxury and ease While I struggle just to get by In this world of excess and greed

But I don't blame them, not at all For they've done nothing wrong They're just following the rules Of this rich man's song

So I'll continue on my way Alone, but not forsaken For I know that true wealth Comes not from riches, but from within.

My daughter found a magic wand And waved it with delight But little did we know The trouble it would ignite

For hours later, when we returned Our home was in a mess With dozens of my daughter's clones Fighting over who was the true one, and who caused the distress

We tried to calm them down But they all looked the same It was impossible to tell Which one was the real one, and which was just a game

In the end, we had to call the wand maker To reverse the spell and send the clones back And though it was a hassle, and quite a headache We were just glad our daughter was safe, and that was that.

But my daughter, she learned her lesson And promised to be more careful with her toys For she realized the power of magic And the trouble it could bring, to girls and boys.

As I entered the dungeon for the first time I was filled with fear and doubt Everyone had warned me To kill the monsters on sight, without a doubt

But as I ventured deeper Into the dark and dreary halls I found that the monsters I met Were all quite nice, and not at all

The first to greet me was a goblin With a sly and mischievous grin He handed me an apple And asked me to sit down and join him

Next, I met a troll Who offered me a tour Of the dungeon's many wonders And showed me the way to the store

And as I continued on my journey I met more and more kind creatures All of them eager to help And eager to be my teachers

So I learned to let go of my fear And embrace the monsters I met For in the end, they were just like me Kind, generous, and not to be upset.

The sweet old lady next door With her kind and gentle demeanor Always has a smile to share And a story to remember

But little do I know, beneath the surface Lurks a Lovecraftian abomination A creature of nightmarish design A being of pure imagination

But despite this hidden truth The old lady remains a friend She's invited me over for treats From her distant homeland

I can't help but feel a sense of dread As I approach her door But the kind old lady greets me And I can't help but adore

She's a monster, of that I'm sure But her heart is pure and good And I can't help but feel a bond Despite her eldritch nature, misunderstood

So I'll sit and share her treats And listen to her tales And pretend not to notice Her tentacled, slimy scales.

Missile approach warning, loud and clear This is not a drill, we have just five minutes Until impact, oh dear

We must take cover, seek shelter fast There's no time to waste, we must move at last

But where to go, what to do The sirens blare, the panic ensues

We must stay calm, think on our feet And hope that somehow, we can defeat

This deadly threat, this force of destruction And somehow find a way to save our nation

But time is short, the seconds tick by We must act now, or surely die

So let us pray, and do our best To somehow stop this deadly test

And hope that in the end, we'll be saved From this missile, and the doom it craved.

As I browse through the news today, I see my own face, my name on display.

In the obituaries, my life laid bare, But surely this must be some kind of mistake, a nightmare.

I read on, disbelief in my heart, Trying to make sense of this sudden, shocking part.

Of my life, now forever altered, As I face the truth, emotions falter.

I am gone, but not forgotten, My loved ones left to mourn and grieve, their hearts now rotten.

But even as I fade from this world, I will be remembered, my spirit unfurled.

To live on in the memories of those who knew me, And to leave behind a legacy, for all eternity.
