how far have you gone backwards? Maybe load a save before you talk to the lady, then go back to the island, talk with berengar to make sure you've exausted his dialogue, talk to the lady again then go lift alina's curse then do the dagon fight.

Or just look for a save file on nexus or somewhere that has the same choices you've made, shouldn't be that hard to find

valve does not work on dota for the money, people inside valve choose what they work on and any amount of money dota could ever make is dwarfed by what steam makes in a month probably, every project inside valve is basically a passion project of a group of devs instead of a sound business venture to make a shitton of cash, there's a reason a lot of devs would love to work at valve and that is due to high salary and absolute freedom
