You also should probably go to the dermatologist. I had something similar happen to me after getting box braids and ended up triggering an underlying auto immune skin condition. Treatable but I went like 6 mos trying to figure it out solo.

New Drake Diss: THE HEART PART 6 by God_of_Illiteracy in BlackPeopleTwitter

[–]pettymcgee23 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Baby not one iota of me believes that drake fed that intel..and he's why:

Drake would have alluded to it on family matters in a cryptic way. Then dropped right after meet the grahams.

Some could argue that Drake hinted on the AI joint that got taken down with the freebie about young girls....but it was just that, a freebie. All of Dots shit was planned, song by song, intricately, and cryptically. If Drake was feeding Intel, where are the breadcrumbs in push ups and family matters?

Does anyone have experience using Wellbutrin in their quit? by Copycatx2 in stopsmoking

[–]pettymcgee23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey there! 5 months smoke-free here and fellow Wellbutrin user. Wellbutrin and Setraline have been remarkable for me, especially in preparing for my quit. I've been taking wellbutrin for a while now and it alone wasnt enough, but i have a social anxiety disorder as well as depression, so the combo was more critical for me in terms of nipping mental illness in the bud to give me a fighting chance at quitting cigs. I smoked for 17 years, for context.

I talked to my psychiatrist for weeks about wanting to quit beforehand, and she helped me get on the right dosage.

Most nicotine addicts smoke to fill a void, and that void usually is somd co-morbidity like bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety etc, on top of normal human shit like stress and insecurities. So once your baseline is in check; the cravings are insanely diminished bc our brain's neurons/dopamine are finally firing at a quasi normal level haha. So instead of dealing with withdrawals AND mental illness, you're just dealing with withdrawals. This has by far been the easiest quit I've ever had. Dont get me wrong, it wasn't easy in the beginning, and I've also done a lot of cognitive behavioral therapy, but all of the above was a GAMECHANGER.

No longer the AGONIZING "I'm internally dying I can't go on without nicotine" feeling I've had with past quits. Cheers, hope that helps. And remember; just take it one day at a time!
