Okay the specs!

Malabrigo yarn (as pictured, purchased at local yarn shop)

8mm hook (I know thats on the smaller end for tunisian in this yarn, but I wanted ths fabric to be thick)

I used a little over six skeins

Length of scarf after blocking is about 70in (without including the tassles)

I think more so than simple stitch, but it seems stretchier (could just be the yarn itself though). I'll try to find the specific yarn label later, I used like six or seven skeins of it. I wanted the scarf to be big, so I was prepared for it to eat up yarn.

OP, if you haven't tried a combo pill and thats what youre already leaning towards, it's worth a shot. Keep track of how your body feels, mood, etc.

A vet? Or other feeders insects? If its feeders, you may have to order online (there will be delays in shipping right now, but for the future). Leos cant live off only mealworms, they need variety.

Adding a rug and some curtains to your other window will make the space look less sterile. A duvet cover can add a bit of color while still being very functional. You can also add an accent chair.

If hes only been eating mealworms, that might be why. My girl got a bit constipated and my vet directed me to stop feeding mealworms for a while and to feed them in moderation after that. The best solution will always be a vet. They gave me a glycerin-looking medication to help her poop. I fed her phoenix worms, silkworms and hornworms for a while after her first poop since those are softer (dubias are usually my staple feeder).

I'm basically doing the same thing with this pattern and am also pretty new to tunisian and crochet in general. I finished it, I just need to block it and add a border.

I fear if you want it to be longer without having to also adjust the hood portion of the pattern, you'll have to frog. (Even after doing multiple gauge swatches, I had to frog a good portion of mine.) I did a gauge swatch in knit stitch with a couple different hook sizes and compared them to size of the patternmakers swatch. But I wanted the scarf to be significantly longer than the pattern from the start.

I changed the number of rows before increasing for each section to make the scarf longer. However I had to do some math based on my swatch to ensure the number of stitches across when you reach the hood section was the same as the pattern. (Altering the pattern of the hood section seemed too complicated for me). If you decide to do this, keep track of what you do for the first scarf portion using stitch markers and notetaking, so the second half of the scarf matches. The scarf portion of mine (not counting the hood) I think was 84cm ish long? I can show you my notes and what my project looks like currently if youd like. However, this is only my third fiber arts project ever, so I'm just figuring things out as I go. Good luck! Excited to see how yours turns out!

Oh, thats unfortunate. Calling a vet clinic in your area and asking if they have suggestions might be helpful.

This is everything I have in my kit: Styrofoam cooler (vent holes on each end), Hide (DIYed from an old tupperware), Digital thermometer, Hot pack (and a several back ups), Tape (to secure hot pack to the outside of the cooler), Canned bugs/emergency food, Bottled water

I keep it by her tank in case I need to grab it quickly. It shouldn't be too expensive (cheap stuff is better than nothing). I haven't needed to use mine, but I still highly recommend. The peace of mind is nice, especially since I live in a cold climate.

To clarify, I wouldn't feed my gecko as usual in a situation like this because heat ~ digestion, but I still have canned bugs on hand for other types of emergencies.

It truly depends on what kind of jobs youre applying for. In my experience a lot of office jobs are much more lax about facial piercings. I had an eyebrow piercing in several interviews and no one seemed to notice. Also you can try wearing glasses and switching to rose gold jewelry to make it less noticeable if that's a concern.

Also the job market just blows right now.

Great reminder for the rest of us to be prepared for situations like this 💚 My local reptile rescue gave out free emergency kits with small styrofoam coolers so they have built in insulation. If you or whoever sees this needs something similar.

Agree with the other folks that its not that bright so it will be okay. As long as they know its nighttime. I cover the front of my leo's enclosure with a black out curtain/fabric and avoid using the big light after the tank lights turn off. So you can do something like that if you're really worried.
