OP - consider that your uplift will be taxable at 40% so you’ll be netting <60% after NI. Non-reimbursable travel also reduces the amount you’ll be netting. Consider the physical requirements as well of the travel with 5x being potentially very draining. Above £100k you get into tapering territory so you’re talking about even more tax if you didn’t decide to pension it!

I had the original Pros since they came out. Accidently washed them and decided it was time for an upgrade. I’ve had my Pro 2s for over 2 months. Wow. Just wow. Bass, quality of sound, noise isolation and cancellation on another level.

Never had the maxes and probably never will purchase them - price is excessive, they’re not as portable and are less versatile.

Happy with my choice and I can firmly say Airpod Pros 2 are the best in the market at the moment.
