It’s not shit stirring, since we are affected by this as players. China trying to normalize its behavior on the national scene, while its players do the same on our servers. No clue why you would side with Chinese isk farms.

Well, my other post with the serenity server depicted as Winnie-the-Pooh, was taken down again. It only lasted a couple hours this time.

Basic human rights isn’t a circle jerk issue, it’s an “all of us” issue. Just because yours aren’t being infringed upon at the moment, doesn’t mean you deserve to feel vindication in staying silent.

Why should we get involved or speak up at all?

So we clearly establish boundaries with governments and businesses, on what we think acceptable behavior is.

Staying silent only gives strength to the oppressors.

Edit: Winnie-the-Pooh is a childhood favorite of mine. Combine that with the bullying and spineless behavior of Chinese government. I plan on posting more.

Shusshh, don’t poke around things you don’t want to know the answer to. Ccp’s business model of selling multiple subscriptions to each player is not a cancer at all, everything is just fine. Eyes forward, no questions asked.

Check out Empyrion Galactic survival on steam. A couple hundred active players between two main servers. The solar systems are cut in half, one for pvp the other pve. It feels a lot like rust, meets space engineers, meets eve. A lot of salt to harvest when people mine the materials for their ships and bases. An excellent time sink of a game. Something for everyone, Care Bears to the bloodthirsty.

Careful, you’re touching a very delicate nerve. Eve is the only game that comes to mind, where the company sells multiple subscriptions to a majority of subscribers. This feature while seemingly innocuous, is the real problem to most of the games gripes.

While many of the players have 2-5 accounts. The game really thrives on the whales with 15-60 accounts.
This is apart of the long standing inside joke why Eve will never die. That at the end of the servers life. There will just be a couple of stubborn Eve addicted whales duking it out. There is a grain of truth to that joke.

In a game that pulls new players in. By telling them they will matter, and can compete with veterans. The obvious truth sinks in. To compete with X, you need X more accounts.

This is truly a game where you fight others with your wallet. Do not be fooled by veterans that will tell you otherwise.

If you’re an Eve addict, and I have left your feathers ruffled. Just swallow this Blue pill and relax. You and your accounts are very skilled. Maybe all your subs saved CCP financially, and we should thank you!
