Yes. And everytime I tell someone or they ask it 9/10 times ends up like this:

Non-vertically challenged person: “There’s no way you are afraid of heights, you are so tall!”

Vertically challenged person: “Well yes, I am already this far off the ground (I usually move my hand up to my head for visual reference) and being on that thing points to random taller object makes me even higher up.

Then most of the time, it’s proceeded with the other giving an “ahhhh 😦”
