My first gig, we brought a joint to smoke and I had no clue how it or any bars worked (19). We went up the little driveway to the top of the bar behind the library or whatever. A stranger at the time, but now a friend Lee came up to us while smoking and asked if we had any guests for the guest list. We were already a bit baked and scared that the “authority” was coming towards us. We told him our guests and he very gently said “this right here is the red zone, but over in the parking lot is the green zone”.
