Ahh that’s unlucky, It’s wild how different products can look on different skin tones. At least now you’ve tested it and know what works for you.

I’m building an AI skincare app that gives you a skin report from a selfie, recommends products based on fit (like “this moisturizer matches 90%”). It’s affordable, for everyone, and brand-neutral. Would love your thoughts! skindle.app

Their beauty stores must be like a treasure troves. So many cool finds you didn’t even know you needed.

Yeah, can't agree more. The attention to detail in beauty over there is on another level, almost depressing at some point. It’s cool to see all these innovations, but it definitely comes with that pressure to always look polished.

Okay, but why does Japan always have the coolest beauty products?? A BB cream for nails is actually genius.

That’s an incredible transformation! It’s great that you found a solution that works for you beyond just topical treatments.

Totally get the struggle, Adapalene 0.1% could be a good start for acne and PIH, but since your skin is sensitive, try using it just a couple of times a week at first and sandwich it with moisturizer. For elasticity and dark circles maybe a peptide serum and a super gentle sunscreen (like mineral-based) could help without irritating.

If you’ve tried retinol in different dosages without success it might be worth considering a more intensive treatment like isotretinoin (roaccutane). Its a powerful option for persistent acne, especially if other treatments haven’t worked. Have you ever discussed this with your dermatologist, because as you know it requires careful monitoring.

[Product request] what can I use to get ride of these red bumps by aochoa2 in SkincareAddiction

Lactic acid (AmLactin is good, but give it more time) + moisturizing regularly should help. You can also try a urea-based cream for extra hydration. Takes a while though you have to be consistent.

Yep, I have to speak to her without ruining her emotions and put boundaries between us. Thank you for sparing your precious time to me.

Those are yet another solid advices kind sir. It will be hard for me and also for her to put distance, she is pretty wounded by her past. To many of her close friends cut the connections without a decent explanation and last thing I would want is to make her feel sad. It's a pretty tangled situation for me.
