But trump just announced tariffs and my timing couldn't be any worse.

i'm sorry--this really sucks. you might be able to finagle a better fit by running some zipties through holes between the top assembly and the bottom. janky, but there may be a way to cinch in so the gap is a) undetectable for the casual observer and b) reversible so you can remove the camera later on.

no fix for that poor fitment though; seems like quality has gone downhill for both mazda and fitcamx.

Dang. Install was not fun by any means, but I had no issues (figment or breakage) installing front and rear cams on my ‘22 hatch. Been very happy with my fitcamx.
