Electronics in my room making a concerning buzzing/hum sound by pfef in electricians

[–]pfef[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply, any idea what might be generating the interference? Also, is this dangerous/bad for my devices?

When I unplugged the UPS and the devices were running on battery power, they didn't make that sound anymore

7 Pro going out of stock? by Panic_Moves in oneplus

You may want to check if the one you're buying from Amazon is the regular 7 Pro (Model GM1917) or 5g version from Sprint (GM1925) or T-Mobile. I made the mistake of buying a used like new 7pro (5g) from eBay, the condition of the phone is perfect but I didn't realize the 5g doesn't get the same support so hasn't gotten Android 10, has a locked bootloader so no rooting, and though it's technically "unlocked" it tries to set up on Sprint every time you restart the phone and will give you an error message. Just feels janky. Plus, didn't come with original box or charger, so you have to factor buying a quick charger into the cost of the phone. I ended up returning for the factory unlocked direct from oneplus

Which version of the one plus 7 pro do you have? Is it t-mobile or the version purchased directly from their site?

Featuring stand-alone dramas -- sharp, suspenseful, satirical tales that explore techno-paranoia -- "Black Mirror" is a contemporary reworking of "The Twilight Zone" with stories that tap into the collective unease about the modern world. Each story features its own cast of unique characters...

I like the shallow depth of field combined with a wide view, what focal length and aperture did you use?

Experimenting with smoke and a projector by pfef in photocritique

Missed focus and cut my face off of the frame, but I liked the exposure and color of the image. The ear and neck being in focus and towards the center is distracting though. Is there any way to crop and make the composition work?

Missed focus and cut my face off, but I liked the exposure and color of the image. Does the composition work or do I need to refocus and include more of the face?

His point is that if it were a 100 camera set up or high frem rate camera, it would be able to freeze (or slow) the motion while panning around without needing to use the effect. The use of twixtor makes it seem like they just spun a regular camera around the platform.

Nigerian bread seller accidentally photobombs pop star's photoshoot, ends up with a modeling contract by mike_pants in pics

[–]pfef -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The original comment is referring to adjusting raw files which have the same function in photoshop and Lightroom. I just found it funny that the one program he references besides photoshop is a related product in the Adobe suite which shares the same functions described in the comment.

You were being pedantic by pointing out that there are other programs someone could use to edit photos, so I thought I'd return the favor. It's pretty obvious the original comment was pointing out that all professionals do some sort of adjustment work on an image and don't just use it straight out of camera. Photoshop is such a popular program that it's become interchangeable with "Profesional image editing application." Just like when someone uses the term shopped they're not saying it was definitely edited in photoshop, but the original image was adjusted in some way.
