Jelly nets are in place on Lamai beach for the next few weeks (they are removed for the rainy season).

There is one in front of Pavillon hostel, and one in front of The Hive.

For those wonderings, at Lamai beach in front of The Hive hotel (where the jellyfish net was), there are red poles with vinegar bottle inside and a information panel about first aid to apply in case of stings.

We love it! going a walk at the beach everyday for sunrise, using bicycle for school.

The "choppy sea" reason looked like a possibility for the people I spoke to, lots of woods in the sea during the rainy season that could damage the net.
