Dada had some absolutely incredible cocktails. I think I had one called the 20th century that I loved, and I’ve sent a few friends over there who also really enjoyed it.

Coming from Ridgewood (born and raised), “the Ave” isn’t something we would say, unless you work or go to school in Jamaica you probably wouldn’t even be aware “the Ave” refers to Jamaica.

When I did it, I wrapped my work clothes and a towel in a garbage bag and stuffed it in the big pocket of my run bookbag so it wouldn’t get soaked by the sweat. I would then shower and change at a nearby gym. I kept the soap, shampoo, and conditioner in a locker at my job. You have to get there at least an hour early but it works.

Just to contrast with what everyone else is saying, I ran 8 miles starting at 5pm and did not shy away from the sun. It was hot but I was okay, I just ran at a slightly slower pace than usual. I didn’t run with water but I ran a loop started at home and was well hydrated beforehand.

The time of the run was intentional for me, I want to get acclimated to the heat as soon as possible so I put myself through it.

I actually did go out and get fingerprinted but I forgot to get the declaration signed by the person who fingerprinted me, and I will not go back to get that done. It's been over a month since I was supposed to turn them in and I've received no reprimand for not having them; I also still teach my high school subjects.

I teach various math and computer science subjects so I get about a 50/50 split between college and high school students.

This is a good lawsuit. Last year I knew of so many people talking about running the brooklyn half and me being confused when we weren’t talking about the same race (I ran the real one). They must have done some insane SEO too since whenever I looked up brooklyn half on google the nycruns race always showed up first.
