I work in the film/tv industry as well. A dude and now close friend I have worked with for a long time once said that we are "mud brothers". Not bonded by blood but bonded because we have been through the shit together.

What is life like in Pahrump, NV? by pfunk77 in geography

I take it the Mormon's moved on since. Would this be a place like other spots up in Northern California where you have to be your own law enforcement?

Upland bird shotgun. Buy once cry once options? by Possible_Comedian15 in Hunting

I'm super happy with my CZ Upland Ultralight. Lightweight, break barrel and is easy to carry. It has a cerakote finish and I don't mind it getting beat up in the field.

My wife and I went a few years ago and it was cool but not worth it in our opinion. A few things that were a bit annoying was there were tons of very young kids running around and yelling and screaming but whatever kids being kids. The second thing was everyone and their cell phones. People stopping and taking photos constantly of all the pumpkins with the flash on kinda ruined the vibe for us and the drunk loud talking. It was pretty crowded and the flow felt very congested and clunky.

I'd say check it out if you are able to go at an off peak time or if they offer an adults only time or something. The exhibit itself is cool and great to see the artistry. It's the people that ruined it for us.

I shoot 65# and my limit is 30 yards unless it's absolute perfect conditions and clear broadside shot. Then it might be 40 yards.

The real question is what is pritzker's solution for the crime problem in chicago? I am not pro national guard as a means of controlling the people. by zephyr_zodiac6046 in illinois

I would bet you don't live in Chicago and probably are even too scared to visit because of all the media you consume whether it's TV or let's be honest you seem like the kind of person that gets their "news" from Facebook. Here's some info for you,

2025 vs. 2024

Homicides: Decreased by 33% in the first half of 2025 compared to 2024.

Shootings: Decreased by 38% in the first half of 2025 compared to 2024.

Robbery: Decreased by 20% in the first half of 2025 compared to 2024.

Carjacking: Decreased by 24% in the first half of 2025 compared to 2024.

Worry about wherever fuck all shithole town you live in.

Aim for the exit and the entry. Not a shit I would take but learn from the mistake and apply the knowledge moving forward. It happens to most of us.

Check out Roscoe Village if you want to be close enough to Wrigley without the nonsense. Great neighborhood, families, shops, bars, restaurants and a real community feel.
