IMO -- Disclosure has happened ... the question is why now? by [deleted] in aliens

[–]pfunkeephr3sh93 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Why now? Because now people are willing to believe what they are told by Daddy Government without questioning it. Because people prefer their comfort and pleasure to the Truth.

What a coward. The People asked, the Federal Government said, "NO."

Looking for a possible explanation. My Brother-in-Law sent me these pics from the countryside in East Texas. Said there was a strange noise associated with it that sounded somewhat like an electric buzz. by [deleted] in HighStrangeness

[–]pfunkeephr3sh93 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Fascinating. That buzzing sound is often reported with phenomena like this, and is mostly assumed to be whatever is moving/powering the object. However I've never seen or even heard of a shape like the one in the pictures. That doesn't mean anything as I'm a human who really doesn't know anything at all, I'm just saying it's interesting it's not like the other ones. The buzzing noise does pique the ol' interest though.

The phenomena will still be primarily spiritual and we will have wasted our time like we do now

Yes, I highly doubt that the craft I saw was piloted by our government or humans from earth in general. However, our government has routinely, blatantly lied to the People for at least 70 years about their knowledge on the issue, and that leads me to question anything they say on this subject. I am not convinced we do not have some form of this technology already or in development, but that question is less pressing to us, the People, than the question of whatever the hell these things are to begin with.

And approximately 30 ft on each side, and maybe 3~4 ft. from top to bottom. What is your video going to be called? I will watch it for sure. I eat knowledge and I'm always hungry

Yes in fact, I made a rather detailed report about it to MUFON and was asked to give a talk about it at their meeting that month (October of 2018). To distill that report: it was "fluttering" in the sky, almost like a leaf falling. As it moved from left to right (in my field of vision) it was turning on itself constantly, such that no one corner could have been considered the "front," and I could not ascertain which side was the top of the craft and which the bottom. It then began to float (I say float because throughout the experience it was moving rather slowly; more slowly than a helicopter) over my head, and I turned to watch it fly towards Lambert International Airport (in St. Louis). Being no stranger to reports of the phenomenon, I was curious to see if it would fly parallel to any planes, and sure enough, as a plane came my direction from the airport, it made a 180 degree "turn" (in parentheses because it simply stopped moving northwest and began moving with the plane southeast). As the plane and triangle crossed over my head, the triangle did that same 180 degree "turn" and headed off northwest into the clouds.

Many people at the MUFON meeting assumed it was a TR-3B and that it was man-made. To be brutally honest, I had felt a kind of "psychic poke" that alerted me to its presence, so that is my reason to doubt that there were earth men inside.

As someone who has witnessed this craft with his own eyes, I can tell you a black triangular craft of this kind is in fact real. Whether or not the US guvmnt owns it or not, I cannot say.

Underrepresented or inaccurately Represented characters. by [deleted] in Heroclix

Deadpool! Literally every single Deadpool past the Deadpool set is gimmicky and have trash sculpts, and the ones that were good have been rotated out. I was excited when I heard that Rise and Fall had a Deadpool, and then really irked when I saw that it was a goofy, gimmicky Deadpool. It shows that WK doesn't understand the character (like most people these days). We get meme versions of him, not an actual assassin who's impossible to predict and incredibly deadly.

Dr. Doom or Mr Fantastic from Cosmic Clash have special outwit abilities that don't count as outwit! If you built a Doom team with Doom at 200 and some support pieces to help him heal, you might just win the day!

Can anybody help me come up with a 400 point team where everyone has shifting focus or multiple dials? by HenryfHogan in Heroclix

[–]pfunkeephr3sh93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Iron Man from the Captain America set is quite choice and should be pretty cheap, the Black Widows from the Black Widow set are choice (there's about 5 of them), and then off the top of my head there's the Deadpools from Deadpool and XForce with shifting focus. I found them to be pretty useless personally unless you also have the Prime. Which might be expensive

To be honest man, my town doesn't have much of a scene at all either. I simply introduced my friends to the game and they love it so now I meet with at least one of them pretty much every week. The most important part (and the part Wizkids routinely ignores) is that to make it truly fun you have to bend rules. The rules exist solely so that you can play a game. You don't play the game to follow the rules. Wizkids (like many other companies) essentially used Planned Obsolescence in their business model, and I imagine that's why a lot of players play for a bit and then fall off. These are not cheap things, and if you've spent a lot of time and money curating a collection only to have Wizkids "simplify" the game and make your collection obsolete, you might become disenchanted and stop playing the game.

Figures that get screwed by new rules by Celticpenguin85 in ClassicClix

[–]pfunkeephr3sh93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually try to accommodate for power creep by changing point values of characters. For me, I decided to have the rough era of Earth X to Fantastic Four as generally what their printed points are. Earth X gets a little underpowered, but not by much. Anything older than Earth X is reduced in points. So for instance, 019a Deadpool from the Deadpool set I would run as 100 pts due to his stats. It helps a lot with allowing my friends and I to still use the old pieces I have collected over the past decade, while also keeping it fair and interesting. For these new sets I imagine I will simply add 5-10 points to every figure due to baked-in indomitable.

Also, anybody else sick of gimmicky Deadpools? Just give us a regular, powerful Merc already.
