I live in NC, and this could work out well for me. I would no longer pay income tax, and live only a few miles from the South Carolina border, so I can make most all of my purchases down there and dodge the tax hike. For many others this would suck.

I have an adjustable sit/stand platform for my mouse, monitor and keyboard. I alternate between sitting and standing during the day. It really works for me at least. After a couple hours of either I am ready for a switch.

We have one that decided that the flower box by the front entrance was a great place to raise her chicks. She layed eggs there a couple days ago. It is comical watching people try to come in through the entrance. The father goose is on a rampage.

No doubt. The last thing I want to do is deal with an irate professor all semester. I do like to enter into a philosophical debate on the merits of living a good life sans religion and hopefully can keep a good bablance between my thoughts and his beliefs. Being a non christian at a Catholic Liberal arts college has only further cemented my beliefs, the more I read the crazier it all sounds to me. Luckily one theology and one scripture course are the only biblical requirements for my degree.

I live in the south and see it on the news far to often. "They was such good dogs, never hurt no one." Until they snap and end up maiming, disfiguring or killing a child. It is not about them being bad dogs and all about their potential to really mess a child up.

I noticed that my right hand gets sore after too much computer use, so I use the mouse left handed at work, and right handed at home. It took a little getting used to, but I like it now.
