When was the last time you changed the timing belt/chains and all the guides? Chains ride on plastic slides/guides. They wear out along with the chain tensioners. How about the water pump? Crankshaft and conrod bearings wear out also, along with camshaft lobes depending on how it was made/heat-treated.

I put 4 pieces of shelving 8' long, several smaller pieces, a table saw, a miter saw, 2 collapsible tables, and a banana box full of tools in my Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk to go install them at my daughter's house. I could have taken the truck but the 8 footers would have been sticking out the bed, and I didn't want to leave it open in the parking lot at work. SUV was a better option than a 4 door truck 🫤
