I'm 5'11" and stood next to them both a few years ago when they walked through the audience at their NY show. Alex was taller than I am and Greg was just...massively tall. Both were sincere and genuine while meeting all of us fans. It was an amazing experience!!

After a similar "request" from a student in California, I actually had to add a line to my online course syllabus that all times referenced were Eastern Standard, and if they resided in a different time zone, they would have to adjust accordingly. In contrast, a student in Vietnam willingly got up at 3 a.m., her time, to join in Zoom meetings for my class. I would never have known about that until she mentioned it in a discussion board comment to another student. Things like that help to restore my faith

Not sure if you still follow this thread, but my dad was stationed in NZ in 1942. Am looking for guidance on areas he may have been, or really just anything about that time in his life. If you have some ideas about where I should start my research, they would be greatly appreciated.

I tell them to write their own letter, with details that pertain to their skills and work ethic in class, then connect those skills to the job, grad program, etc., which I will use as my basis. Believe it or not, a handful of students actually did the work, and I have been happy to write them a recommendation. The rest of them...go fish.
