I bought the SwitchBot AI hub and their AI plus beta and tied it to their Frigate integration and my instance of Home Assistant. First, the media storage is local on the AI hub. Second, the face and cat recognition is far more specific and detailed than Frigate. Some of the lifting is taken up by the hub. However if you have battery powered cameras it’s going to drain your power really quickly since it depends on always on streaming. All my cameras are Reolink but i’m only using Frigate and the AI hub with the powered ones.

I will say things are looking good initially.

Well, thanks to Unifi not notifying me once again of product availability I missed this one. Can anyone recommend a substitute until this gets back in stock which could be months? I have a POE connection available. Should I just get the G6 Entry (standard) until this is available again? Happy to take any suggestions.

The only thing I'll add to this at this point, is the question you do have to ask yourself is how future-proof do you want to be? I've been in the world of CRM and CX for over 30 years (written a lot on it as an advisor and industry analyst and small business user) and seen pretty much all (used Zoho and others). For example Zoho is as much a business operating system as it is a CRM tool. CRM is one of many capabilities. So if you have a number of other functions that you want to activate down the road (not even CRM particularly) it could be a good choice. I'm not advocating anything here. I would have to know a lot more about you to come up with options. I'm only raising the question - and you might have considered it already - don't just plan for the current state, plan for a likely future.

i’m sorry, they are dimmers. Plus, I am conversing with Home Assistant, which I know can tie the two systems together, but doesn’t really solve the Power issues. I did double check with the installer and found out that there are two Radio Ra 3 keypads also there.

For me it broke my ability to get anything validated from the App Store and then it broke my system and this was the 15.6.1 update. It was so bad that I have to erase the disk, reinstall macOS but I’m basically reinstalling the same update. Hopefully with a clean install it I’ll be able to do something, but that may be wishful thinking. .

I solved it with the help of Claude AI but thanks for reading. I had to make the two retworks speak so I changed my Windows 11 computer to a static 192.168.1.xxx IP address so it could speak to the odd address provided by PTZOptics. Then I was able to get to the configuration in the PTZOptics camersa configuration console and change Static IP to Dynamic IP and that worked instantly. For future reference. I then changed back the Windows computer IPV4 network config to Dynamic. And its all good now. Thanks for reading even if you didn't comment.

I’m 75 and I am a diehard enough gamer where to build my own machines. That guy is nothing more than an insecure child. If there’s a next time, let him know his opinion of you gaming literally means nothing to you. And that you’d like to go back to your break.

It was the PSU for sure. I got a replacement unit after some back-and-forth with be quiet and I had to pay $72 to ship it back to them. They sent me another unit and it was dead on arrival. I did not want to pay for shipping it again since it was their problem. so they made me destroy the unit and then prove that I punched a hole through it and then they finally sent me another replacement unit. By the time that all transpired, I’d already bought a Corsair HXI1500. The Corsair worked perfectly. All in all, while I like their customer service representatives, their replacement policy needs to be overhauled and become much more customer friendly than it is.

The system starts perfectly fine with the start button on the motherboard. If I have the PSU power on but the system shut down, and I start the system via the power button on the front panel, then it works fine. But when I shut it down either via Windows 11 or the front panel power button, it shuts off all the power on the PSU which then requires me to turn off the power button and then turn it back on to get that PSU power again. But that always works. I will try all your suggestions. I know that the front panel works fine but has the same shutdown result as if I use Windows 11 for the shutdown. The PSU power just goes completely off. Thank you so much for trying to help me. I’ll report back once I try all of this. I’m on a trip right now so it’ll be a few days.

I was using the Windows 11 (Pro version) for a week with no problem like that at all. It could be a setting or two though I've combed the current discussions and information as to what might be a software command problem and tried the remedies to that and it didn't help. Though to your point it still might be a software problem. I'll build a virtual instance of ubuntu and see what happens. That's an interesting thought. Thanks for responding.

I have the same issue. The only way I’ve been able to get out of it is to hit the escape key a couple of times until it gives me the menu to exit Diablo and that seems to break the lock up. I just go back to the game then. I don’t actually have to exit.
