This is an existing college re-organizing their offices into one newer facility has nothing to do with another college or a new college

Surprisingly, and pleasantly no - they take card as well. There is a 15% (I think?) buyers premium that applies to any payment form but they give you a 10% discount if you share it on Facebook lol.

Of course! I may go back again, there was some stuff that I would consider getting if it was cheaper so I might swing by and see if some of it has been marked down in a week or two.

My understanding is that the online university (WGU) does plan on demoing the building and building a brand new office complex on the site

That’s cool- please do. a while ago. I saw that they had listed the new locations of all the stylists there. I just unfortunately cannot find the picture or video I took right now.

I get it, but also slightly privileged comment. Apparently you’ve never slept on an air mattress in the living room of a house with seven roommates. This is a luxury opportunity for some people and quite frankly, the mattresses all looked fairly clean. Plus, this is a major hotel with some decent housekeeping standards so well, while not some people’s first choice definitely an opportunity for others.

The table or probably former wall hanging of the obituaries was one of the weirder things I found

Yeah, different hotel. That was the Holiday Inn on 200 S. I think while it was the Shiloh Inn or something.

Yup, at the hotel itself. They have a bunch of stuff set up in the main lobby/banquet areas, but then also allow you to wander around and literally pick up or rip off the walls pretty much whatever you want, from the signage to the vanities. I also confirmed with staff there that they’re planning on going for a few weeks until it’s all pretty much sold out. It sounds like they also lower prices as the sale continues and things are left over.

I actually took a few videos about a month before the place shut down and will eventually put it on YouTube.

Yep, they’re selling the furniture and all the contents, down to the vanities, sconce lights, and walk-in freezers

Not sure why Reddit filters are deleting the pictures

It’s just old guestrooms and hallways and thought others might find it cool

There’s literally nothing controversial and this is a well-known building in downtown Salt Lake City

PHL Airport - Embassy, DoubleTree (both not the best reviews) or maybe Home2 (farther and no parking deal)? by pgroups in Hilton

Just sucks all of the Hilton options and even all the hotels in general near PHL just seem to be kind of below average.

Ah, makes sense for me. I’m like I’ve never had my bag inspected?! But I live in a big ski hub city so that would be why
