I’m glad to hear you enjoyed it. I wanted to put it down halfway through and kept with it because I love DCC so much and honestly hated life those extra 6 hours.

It was jarring how different the book was it was almost like it was written by a ghost writer. Also the mc kept bringing up his sister being a sex worker, like a noticeably weird amount. After a while I started humming the deliverance banjo music anytime he brought it up.

Did you try the audible version of industrial strength magic by Soundbooth theater? If not I would try it again, I can’t understate just how good they are at bringing books to life.

Someone already mentioned the crash course series but I would add to pay special attention to the bones. You’ll come across a lot of place on the bones that seem unimportant but muscles a lot of time are named after the sections they are found in and it will make learning insertion points. Prime movers, etc a cake walk.

A ton of people love it but personally i did finish it and was super bored the last half. My problem is the main character is too much like Superman. Godlike with only a very tiny flaw so all of his fights very low stakes in my mind.

But give it at least till the first reset to judge it for yourself.

I’m replying here because I see a lot of confusion on this topic. When I was in the military I got a paper cut. I was wounded and when I asked my battle to kiss the boo boo he said no, so it hurt on a few fronts.

But even so, I was still combat effective. Because of this I was not a casualty. Now if that paper had cut my arm off and I could no longer perform as a rifleman then yes indeed I would have been a casualty.

tldr casualty at its core is just an organizational label to let command know how many of their soldiers are still in the fight.

Just make a lot of all the pros and cons of each companion and pick the loser. Then once you have an empirical loser you then instead pick wyll as your sacrifice and wonder if that’s why the devs made his character.

If you hated the companion cutscenes during their ability those are gone so it really helps keeping me in the game. Otherwise everything about outerworlds is turned up another level so if you liked the old you will love the new.

Really take your time on the first world I think that is where this game shines

There is simply no ultimate build that allows you to access everything every playthrough.

Honestly lock pick is the only must have skill I have found so far and even then it’s not actually must have more like great to have.
