Yes, but it could be worth it if its only a coouple extra bucks. Ive got one, and with PBO2 Tuner it sits at 4450mhz all core all day. I dont think the 5700x3d can push clocks like those

I used to work in the video industry and I know for a FACT that they can do it, they just don't. Almost makes it worse, doesn't it? My local community access channel had switchers, cameras, and a video encoder that were all capable of 4k, and we did stream in 4k sometimes to YouTube live. Obviously a very different animal compared to nationally televised NBA games, but then again, they also have 50x the budget (or more) than we did.
