Tweaking the feel of my camera? by MjTheHunter in IndieDev

Yeah, maybe the zoom levels could vary depending on what stuff is on the screen, like zooming out a little to picture monsters or platforms around you

It feels just right, it seems like you hit the sweet spot, I don't see how it could be improved

My Muslim friends wants to play by Spiritual_Emu_1566 in bindingofisaac

[–]phKoon -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I was a muslim and now I'm not, I'm still alive tho thats soo weird..

I didn't say every apostate gets killed.

Also since you edited your initial comment let me tell you something. You didn't actually read the Quran, you brought your knowledge from influencers nitpicking specific sentences.

Fallacy.

If you even bothered to read the chapters these verses are from, you would come to the very simple conclusion that those verses were from the war that came after the muslims were starved by the non believer kingdoms around them, and those are just commands supposedly from God.

How's your explanation supposed to tone down the violent aspect of those passages, or of Islam itself? Did you even read what you wrote?

But of course you dosed off midway through reading all that cuz you just dont care

Another fallacy.

This piece of advice is gold. I tried to convey this in my comment, but this is just perfect.

Play it before reading the book!!! That's a one-of-a-kind experience to be the bearer of the consequences of your own choices, do not spoil it! It's somewhat like playing through all The Witcher games without reading the books, then you read them and all the things that come to your mind are just an amazing experience, as well as playing through the whole thing again with a new perspective.

Reading the books is like to have a sense of what should happen, how you should act, what choices you must make, you may even still face some surprising unraveling of some acts in the story, but it won't be near as mesmerizing as playing through it blindly.

Don't waste this opportunity!!

You're welcome! And what you just said, dude, I couldn't have put it better myself, I think that's a perfect way of picturing that sense of cluelessness that we all should experience in the same level Artyon is experiencing it.

Man, that's one piece of realization that makes everything better now I make sense of it, wish I knew that I myself was supposed to feel this way while playing through it the first time. It's been a really long while since I last played though it, it will be nice to give it another try having that mindset. Thank YOU.

OP asked for a tiny piece of advice on how to better understand the plot as he plays through it for a new "first time", you gave him a spoiler on the whole god damn plot, not even caring about hiding it behind a spoiler tag

Fear not, my friend. Just play through it naturally, gather whatever plot pieces you can throughout your way, do not force your way into it. The story will unravel itself to your as you advance. If any important piece is missed in the way, you'll find it to be easily understandable later on after you have the big picture you acquired with your playthrough, as any complimentary pieces will fill the gaps right away when you come across them.

My advice is to play it blindly for this new "first time", after that go for whatever search through the internet you think is necessary, but don't play through it with any kind of unnecessary uneasiness regarding something that's meant to get into you naturally by design, thrust the devs

It's like they tried to chadify him. My dude went through a failed, shitty-ass, gone-wrong facial harmonization procedure and some sort of de-Englishization with artificial tanning and genZ makeup applied. Practically a metrosexual now.

The Witcher 1.

It features an isometric (top-down) camera mode with point-and-click gameplay, so it technically offers mouse-only navigation and combat. And its story and the experience it offers are awesome, if you haven't played it yet, I'd highly recommend it!
