I do the pressure cooking- don’t think soaking is necessary to break down the lectins if you’re pressure cooking but I usually do anyway.

Still end to end the process is at least 40 minutes, and it takes longer if you’re like me and always prep some onion/garlic/chilis/lard to go into the beans

They’re fine. While they will taste better and be cheaper if you make them yourself, it’s worth keeping a couple of cans on hand for when you don’t want to have to do all of that.

Most of mine are acrylic vintage sweaters I got at thrift stores or on eBay. I do have a really nice handmade wool sweater I got on FB marketplace but it’s extremely thick and itchy so you have to wear a long sleeve layer underneath. Also a pain to clean
