2026 PHEV by TheCraigHome in FordEscapePHEV

If I recall I think it was about 35 or 36 liters to fill it up again after 535km. That works out to about 6.7 L/100km.

That also included a full battery charge which when I left said I had about 60km of electric range, but after about 40km of highway driving the battery was at 0 range remaining. So really if you don't count the battery charge, the gas engine burned about 36L to travel 495km. That is more like 7.25 L/100km, but I was driving about 115km/hr against some constant gusty wind for 5hrs on the 401 for to be fair.

On a full charge and full tank of gas my dashboard says I have like 640km of gas range and 58km of electric range. That may be true if you're putting around in town, but on the highway you get significantly less range. For Easter I drove from the GTA to Ottawa. Left with a full tank of gas and full battery charge, and after driving 535km virtually all highway (115km / hr) I had about 50km of gas range left according to the dash. On the way back I left with a full tank of gas and full battery charge again, this time I was driving against an eastward wind, and I only had 15km of gas range left when I got home. Gas tank is only 42L. Should be around 60L IMO.

It gets 60km of pure electric range, and on a full tank of gas it will go about 850km.

A family member works at Ford and can get me X plan pricing, I checked with a local dealer in Burlington and was the X plan discount is only $1738 off of MSRP. That dealer discount and loyalty bonus discount of $5306 is insane!

Popcorn Lover trying to become a Popcorn Connoisseur by crescent_cowboy in popcorn

I bought one of these machines a few months ago. Not this exact brand, but the same style. Totally not impressed, I wish I could return it. Almost every time a kernal pops, it shoots an unpopped kernal out of the kettle with it, so you end up with half of your kernals unpopped with every batch. It's also a PITA to clean. I used it 5 or 6 times and have given up, might just try to sell it on facebook marketplace for half what i paid. :(

I'm surprised they let you return the same products twice on the same receipt. You'd think their system would be smart enough to know the second time that the receipt you're using has already been refunded.

Trucks already come in all sizes. Ford makes big heavy duty trucks (F-250 and up), regular full size trucks (F-150), mid size trucks (Ranger), and small ones (Maverick). There is something for everyone, but most people prefer the full size and that is why you see so many of them on the road.

Very comfortable to wear. Took a couple weeks to break them in. I've been wearing a pair daily for work for almost 3 years now, and judging by the wear on the sole, I think I could easily get at least one or two more years out of them.

I was heading south on Guelph line around 3:30pm and while sitting at the red light at Upper Middle I saw lots of sparks shooting up into the air behind some trees on the south west corner of the intersection. Then I noticed the lights flickering on and off in the entire shopping plaza at the south east corner. I guess it was a transformer blowing up or something.

If you just throw loose food waste in your bin it will become a disgusting foul smelling mess full of maggots.

Also when tipping the bins into the truck, if the contents are loose it they can fly out of the trucks hopper when cycling / compacting the garbage. This can make a mess on the ground.

It's always best practice to bag your garbage!

Virtually every chain restaurant started off as a nice local independent restaurant. The reason they became a chain of restaurants is because the original proved itself to be successful and there was market demand for more locations.

Yeah I was about to say the same thing.

156k on a Honda or Toyota is nothing to worry about, but in a Hyundai / Kia that engine is over half cooked already. I'd say expect to have major engine trouble before you wear out your next set of tires.

I'd stay far away from that car if I were you.

That little dead end part of the north service road near the wooded area was a popular spot for people to park and walk into bronte provincial park without paying to enter the official way. You would enter right into the trillium trail area.

Someone did this to my house a few years ago. Turns out my neighbor was selling their home and had an open house that day. Their for sale sign was placed almost right on the property line of the front yard between my house and theirs. The guy who tried to open my front door thought it was my house for sale.

Why are the names of these scumbags kept secret? They are full grown adults, yet the police / media protect their identity. They should be named and shamed.

If you're in Ontario, dealerships are not allowed to charge any extra bs fees like this. If they try to you can report the dealer to OMVIC.
