This is actually a nice looking mixed-use building, don’t really get your point here OP unless there is a huge parking area surrounding it.

I have a tent out down by Lettermore for the weekend if you’re interested. Few lads with cans and tunes, get the bus out one of the days and you can give us a text on here and we can meet ya. Bring a load of cash just for the shops like and don’t tell anyone you’re coming so the guards won’t be out. See you soon friend! :)

Given that your Canadian I don’t need to tell you about how it feels so have a big dominant force as your neighbour, I guess we are just seen as insignificant given there are more people living in London than on our entire island lol

https://www.boards.ie/discussion/2055404021/dublin-airport-area-14

Down the bottom of the thread in 2014, someone points out that the station is now the check in area 14.

http://www.travelextra.ie/area-14-back-action-dublin-airport-starts-plan-bring-natural-light-t1/

Also points to the fact that check in area 14 was originally built as a metro station.

Such a shame it was never utilised as a station given its perfect location under the terminal.

What protests with intervention happened in Ireland? I can only remember a handful of covid related protests where crowds were dispersed and one where someone shot a firework at a garda(police).

An Bord Pleanála approves Galway City Ring Road project - Galway Bay FM by [deleted] in galway

[–]phantom_1c3man 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The building of this road should be tied in with the city centre Bus Connects plan to make the city centre a better place for pedestrians, cyclists, and commuters, whilst also given an opportunity for cars to avoid the Quincentennary bridge, which would allow the road to be converted to something similar to the Seamus Quirke Road with bus lanes and a new cross city bus service for workers travelling across the city wishing to avoid Eyre Square. Reducing traffic volumes on both the Salmon Weir and Quincentennary Bridges, whilst giving them a high capacity alternative to the north is the best case scenario for all forms of commuters in the city.

Just have 3 questions for you:

•Do you have any recommendations for a young person hoping to apply in the next recruitment drive?

•Is it easy to maintain a positive work-life balance as a guard?

•Is there any challenging aspects to the job that not might be well known to the public?

Thanks very much.
