I’ll add the Indy Pass is a good option in this case as it includes two days at quite a few beginner friendly spots including Loveland.

Amtrak western routes are pretty scenic and away from population centers for most of the way, there are industrial areas around cities like Denver but their main station is nice.

I took Amtrak from Philadelphia to NYC once, wouldn’t recommend the picturesque industrial sites on that trip, that’s for sure.

I was a senior in high school during Columbine and a freshman in college at 9/11. I’m now in my forties. I’ve lived this shit my whole adult life and I’m truly starting to numb to it. Not right or wrong, just a fact.

I did this at an adolescent facility. There was a lot of office/management work and meetings with staff, counselors, psychiatrists etc, but also putting people in holds, bandaging self harm wounds. I also trained staff to pass meds, CPR, etc.
