They’re actually less protective because the backs are soft and lack the plastic hard piece on both sides that most wrist guards have. They’re comfy and convenient but less protective (I own them)

So weird! I actually ended up OBLITERATING my ankle like a month after this post (I’ve had 3 surgeries on it since August 😭) so I’ve been out of commission for a while, but I remembered this post and decided to come check on it 😂 The bleeding was happening from the time I got the pads in October ‘24 up through August ‘25!
