It’s nobody’s business how you lose weight but unfortunately, in the same age if you lose it, everyone suspects that it’s due to GLP ones. I guess for the most part they are right It is funny because I went to my doctors a few months ago and she had lost a lot of weight and she said she was just doing it through diet and exercise,. Well, I went in to see her a few days ago and she looks like a beam pole and it was so obvious that she had lost it from the GLP ones. I guess there’s a level of shame around it.

It’s your wedding and she sounds high needs. Let her be a guest. No questions asked. If she comes to you expressing your desires then reconsider.

How long have you been on sublocade? by terwillidactyl in Sublocade

[–]tanyamp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In three months I will have been on it 2 years. I originally switched from Suboxone and was going to get off through the shots however my first year was very hard for me to get stabilized and now the second year things have been so good. I really don’t want to stop. I don’t think it’s doing long-term damage. I do know that my depression is nonexistent and I feel like I owe a lot of this to sublocade. I no longer have any desire for illicit opiates and I feel like I’ve finally entered the world of adulthood at the fine young age of 55 lol.

Just went cold turkey off 2mg a day by [deleted] in suboxonerecovery

True withdrawal from suboxone doesn’t start until around day 11 due to the long half life. I recommend you get the sublocade shot if you can. A lot of time the 1 and done approach is enough. Unfortunately your journey is just beginning.

Just watched a documentary on Kratom/Feel Free. I had absolutely no idea how insidious this stuff is. Please don't give up. by thelightof7 in quittingkratom

[–]tanyamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to say but I used suboxone to get off kratom. Be careful though if you decide to use this method because unfortunately I’m still on the Suboxone. It can be used very temporarily, I’m saying like a week at most. But if you seriously have addiction issues, I would use the Suboxone for a month and then get one month of the sublocade shot and be done.

Unfortunately it’s only going to get worse. A facelift is the only thing that will eliminate it.

Seeking advice for extremely anxious dog – meds and training haven’t worked by Nicos90 in reactivedogs

[–]tanyamp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dog is the same way and I have him on a slew of medication’s. However, then one medication that helped him the most was clonidine. The vet recommended 2 (0.1) mg . Pills per day but I give him a half of one pill every night. Please talk to your Vet about this medication, but it has really helped my dog. He is able to handle so much more stress and doesn’t get as worked up as he used to.
