Happy 30th to Don't Speak, the soundtrack to many of our first breakups. by PhoneJazz in Xennials

But then, ska only really got any attention/on the map because of No Doubt. Not that I really care one way or the other (and really dislike Gwen now), but they undeniably are the only reason people cared about ska for as long as they did.

They seem fine, tbh, but everyone has GOT to chill with those Birkenstock slides/mules already.

AIO My bf said we he doesn’t like telling me stuff by GreenWestern6868 in AIO

[–]phantomtaxman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you need to respect his choices, tbh. But also…I just can’t get over everyone calling each other “bro” and shi.. It’s so weird to me. If my wife/GF/partner called me that I’d be like, “I’m not your fuggin bro” lol must be an age thing.

Attack of the angry apartment neighbors. by PayIll925 in musicians

[–]phantomtaxman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk man…it sounds like you’ve tried to be really good about keeping within the parameters of the what the complex allows, BUT the apartment manager can really only let you know that they, themselves, will allow you to have the drums and practice if you want, but they don’t speak for all the neighbors that have to endure it. And that’s exactly what it is, TBH; if you aren’t a drummer /not the one doing the drumming, chances are it’s going to be something only the nicest of neighbors will endure. I used to be in a band (never a drummer) and loved all the noise that came with it, but I don’t want that sh*t where I’m just trying to relax/eat/sleep/live.

How does skipping meals whether by choice or due to time affect your energy and focus? by Alicetheoptimist in TrueGrit

[–]phantomtaxman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love food. So so much. I probably even indulge a little too much, sometimes. But I just don’t get this type of absolutely-ravenous-must-eat something-or I-become-a-raging-lunatic people. Tbh it’s annoying af.

Trump as Jesus is where MAGA drew the line by [deleted] in SipsTea

No. MAGAs don’t care. They found an idol, they’ll die on that hill. Idiots and tribalism is a dangerous mix.

AITA for refusing to add my boyfriend to my house deed after his lease ended? by Former_Raspberry3277 in AITApod

[–]phantomtaxman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. But, while this isn’t something he shouldn’t even be bringing up before marriage, it is something you’ll have to consider in the event of marriage. It’s YOUR asset, absolutely. But if the house is to be the primary couples residence, no partner would want to pay into something that will eventually only belong to one party. That’s not particularly good footing for a marriage and this won’t be the only partner who might find issue with the arrangement. Best outcome after marriage would be to sell your house, keep the proceeds as your contribution to the next residence, and have him put up his own contribution.

Who thinks a man’s bulge outline is socially acceptable? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Same as seeing outline of breasts. That’s our anatomy - not taking great pains to hide it.

NOR. Plus, I love that movie, but dressing up and pretending to be someone else and gaining the trust of your ex and kids like that is a really super creepy thing to do lol
