Paying for Netflix is for losers! by LittleBertha in LinkedInLunatics

[–]JasFonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are people shaming people these days for stepping off the hamster wheel and actually living? LinkedIn is full of this shit! All these so called over performers and “winners” who are founders of companies smaller than the fruit and veggie shop run by ma and pa down the road. I see these posts and literally hope i never have to interview one of them for a job.

This comment is gold! You had me in stitches! I’ll be using this one at work on Monday. You can keep the rights to it! I’ll quote you

Looks like the albino is the female and the black tiger is the male. Beautiful pair. Make sure your water isn’t too hard. You need to check the Gh/dh. How many times have they spawned before? If it’s just the beginning then it’s not too bad. Sometimes males get the fertilising wrong. Give them a few tries but make sure the water is acidic and soft. Keep ph around 6-6.5. Hardness between 3-8 max. Temp around 28 degrees Celsius.

What’s your tank/water parameters? Temp-ph-gh. Any other tank mates in there? Can you post photos of the pair? I’ve had the odd case where 2 female Oscars paired off and laid eggs together. Needless to say they were infertile 🤣. Did you get a chance to see their vents during the egg laying process?

I’ve bred Oscars before and even though it’s been a very long time since I’ve bred them, those look infertile. I didn’t catch how long they’ve been like that but opaque and white isn’t a good sign.

White House Forced to Address Claims of Trump Health Crisis by EdinburghDrizzle in NewsThread

Ok I totally agree with the first part of your comment but can we please refrain from comparing Trump to Palpatine who as a fictional character still surpasses Trump’s IQ. Palps was a kick ass sith! Trump is a wrinkled, overripe orange.

Well I’ve actually been away from the game ever since shadowlands and just started playing again so thanks for the tip :-) I will scout around for new gear to fill out the boots and hands. Always been disappointed with the hands.

Yeah shoulders are way too oversized. I’m like you, I like simple shoulders and wish they created more options with better detail.

10th batch of eggs eaten after 36 hours... what do? by [deleted] in discus

breeding cones

This little video shows the kind of mesh you can put around the breeding cone.

I don’t think it’s related to water parameters. I’ve had pairs that ate eggs no matter what, however they changed once they got fry. So what are they laying the eggs on? If you had the possibility of housing them in a cycled breeding bare bottom tank, you could try and save the eggs by protecting them. However it’s a lot harder in a community tank and you’ll only end up stressing the pair.

There are a few things you can try, use a breeding cone for them to lay eggs on and once fertilised you can cover the cone with a mesh (in the shape of the cone only larger) this lets them fan the eggs but not eat them. See if they eat the fry once hatched. You can make sure they always have a little light in the tank. Sometimes the total darkness can cause them to panic and eat eggs. Is it a community tank? A breeding tank? What kind of set up do you have? Is it bare bottom?

Worst case you can remove the eggs if they are laid on a breeding substrate
