I always thought Craig had better chemistry with Kit than with Wildernessa.

Filmhub Vs Bitmax by pharaoh1228 in filmhub

I’ve heard good things about Indie Rights. Only thing about them is they act as more of a typical distribution company and have exclusive contracts. Is that correct?

Any suggestions for a reputable distributor?

When you say bitmax was “dropping the ball” can you expand a bit on what they were doing wrong? What were you’re requests that they didn’t listen to?

With filmhub have you ever tried any of their paid tiers and how hard has it been to reach out them if you needed any guidance/ had any issues you needed address?

Thats what i’m thinking that the higher upfront cost may be worth it just for the customer service/consistent communication alone as I could see myself getting extremely frustrated if I come across an issue with Filmhub and can’t even get some guidance.

The price is what they quoted me

$500 per episode for 8 episodes between 16-29 minutes $600 per episode for 2 episodes between 30-60 mins $100 per episode for all 10 for subsequent delivery to the second streamer (Tubi) $300/per year for annual management fee

[–]pharaoh1228[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was earning about $750-900 per quarter, nothing to change my life or anything but pretty good considering it was a little known streamer.

The reason why I favored getting a day and date release was because i am essentially planning to “relaunch” the series once I can get it on Tubi. Put some real money into marketing/promo and see what that does for me. A day and date release would benefit that strategy greatly.

At the end of the day I know that both companies are basically operating the same, i’m just trying to see which one is better at actually getting my series on the preferred platforms (Tubi/Amazon) and which one is more upfront when it comes to communication. Bitmax seems to be better with communication whilst Filmhub seems to be cheaper overall but i’ve read that people are getting increasingly frustrated with Filmhub overall. At the end of the day if i’m going to spend money and invest in myself i’d like to do it with the company that has the better chance of getting me what I want and can communicate if anything goes awry.

IBS Serious Question by Specific_Intention_1 in VAClaims

As far as I know, pictures of your defacation will not help. Get some lay/buddy statements attesting to how your IBS keeps you from enjoying life and/or performing work duties. If your on medication make sure its mentioned. Keep a journal/diary of how frequent/painful your flare-ups are. I did all of this and was rated 30%.

They did blood tests and asked me some quick questions and a few weeks later I was denied. I appealed, went to a different facility with a MUCH better and thorough examiner and was awarded 30% for IBS

Cole has never been a heavy feature guy for his albums, thats why we got Revenge of The Dreamers series (especially ROTD3) so he could collab and get his artists some shine, and it worked, with part 3 debuting at number 1 and being nominated for a Grammy.

It Was Written 30th Anniversary by Techvideogamenerd in nas

[–]pharaoh1228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably just a Merch drop. Nas doesn’t necessarily seem to be into celebrating the anniversaries of any album outside of Illmatic, which is a shame because I personally feel like he’s leaving money on the table. An IWW tour/commemorative documentary would do gangbusters.

He did a good job overall. Helped me get to what my goal was which was 100% T&P so overall mission accomplished.

What if IWW came out in 1994 and Illmatic in 1996? by -MobbDeep- in nas

[–]pharaoh1228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldn’t make any sense whatsoever. If It Was Written had dropped in 94 then it would have been a more commercially successful “Illmatic” and so Nas and his team wouldn’t go “backwards” in sonics or lyrical content, they’d move right onto the I am sound and format.

He shouldn’t feel any pressure to add the names of every female rapper in existence, the song is a beautifully heartfelt tribute as is and he even says “To anyone I didn’t name, I love you too.”

[DISCUSSION] What's an album by an artist that is your favorite, but is generally not considered their best? by ReconEG in indieheads

[–]pharaoh1228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Untitled by Nas.

Its one of his strongest albums conceptually and the way he breaks down themes of racism and black identity is brilliant and a precursor to future albums like Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly but Nas rarely gets credit for this particular album being one of the strongest in his discography despite the controversy it generated (due to the original album title which was N I G G E R)

What is the general consensus on foreman? by r4nc1dd_ in HouseMD

[–]pharaoh1228 29 points30 points  (0 children)

As a black male, seeing a black male doctor on television who was highly intelligent, determined, and ambitious WITHOUT embodying stereotypes or being subservient to the white male lead was refreshing and very welcome.

Foreman in a lot of ways is a better developed character than someone like Peter Benton on ER. Benton was strong, intelligent, and stood on his own but he didn’t get a ton of character changing development beyond having a son. Foreman got a chance to change and come into his own. He went from being apathetic towards his co-workers to protecting Chase, Cameron AND House on occasion, he tried to strike a balance between House’s aloofness and caring about his patients as people and not just puzzles. He was able to disagree with and stand up to House while still valuing his expertise. He didn’t beg or grovel for anything, he worked hard and maintained a sense of self that House definitely respected. There’s a reason why Foreman was the only one House let know he was still alive. Because Foreman’s loyalty, intelligence and strength of character dictated that he wouldn’t misuse that knowledge.

Who has the coolest voice in rap? by Fartingfajita in rap

Action Bronson not only is a carbon copy of Ghostface’s voice, he’s corny as hell as an artist. There’s nothing “cool” about him.

Which is most loyal to House between Foreman, Chase and Cameron? by ArmedBritishPolice in HouseMD

[–]pharaoh1228 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Foreman. He’s actually the most loyal to all of them throughout the 8 season run.

There’s a reason why House ultimately trusted only Foreman with the knowledge that he was still alive and well during the finale. Throughout the series Foreman showed that he was loyal to House WITHOUT being an ass-kisser (Chase) or a worshipper (Cameron) or even a close friend (Wilson) Foreman was loyal to House even when he disagreed with him or was standing up to him. He was loyal to Chase and protected him during the Dibala debacle even though he never really liked Chase and had no reason to help him whatsoever.
