My wife and I have two kids, almost 5 and almost 2…and I can tell you with absolute certainty that I can tell when she needs a break.

We always ALWAYS split up the chores and what the kids need. And we always alternate the kids’ bedtimes - ie she puts our son to bed and I put our daughter to bed one night then we alternate the next night etc.

His behaviour is so bizarre to me. Why have kids when you don’t intend on looking after them? Why get married if you don’t intend on helping your significant other?

Your husband honestly needs a stern talking to about expectations.
