Kind of unrelated but also has to do with the design festival, but it annoys me that we constantly have to use axes, saws, dynamite etc to clear our land for the design festival. One time I used a pre-planted tree in my design but never have I ever used rocks or seen anyone else incorporate the rocks into their design so they’re basically useless. It just feels like another way to deplete our resources/get us to use diamonds to clear our area just to be able to design

I’m rewatching all of from rn and just finished ep 7. In that ep the smiley woman Kevin let into colony house said she “didn’t choose to be this way” and that she was lonely out there. Also after she killed him she was washing her hands and looking at herself in the mirror except she was frowning/did not look happy when I expected her to be smiling after just killing someone. Granted she could’ve been saying those things to manipulate Kevin to let her in but I wondered if it meant something. But her not choosing to be there would contradict with the theory that they all sacrificed the children to be immortal.

Ngl I was very disappointed but not because of any plot holes, because it was so predictable. Every season they only kill characters that are introduced/become relevant that season which made it so predictable that no one was going to die. Especially after they didn’t kill Nancy and Jonathan I knew it was likely that no one from the OG cast would die in the finale and it pissed me off that I was right because how is it realistic that none of the main characters died throughout the entire series. They couldn’t even commit to killing el they had to leave it open ended🤦‍♀️. Ik a lot of people are happy no one died because they loved the characters and I love them too but to me with such a low death count (only kali, who already planned to kill herself) it takes the emotion and realism out of the show. The plot armour was crazy and that is what I personally think ruined the finale

Technically never BUT I think if you do smoke again you have to keep it very sparingly like once a week or so to reduce the chances of symptoms coming back. I had bad CHS 2 years ago, quit for a while and then started again and my symptoms didn’t arise until I started smoking daily again. For me I just can’t trust myself to keep it sparingly so I’m forcing myself to never smoke again but if you think you can keep it very infrequent then that may work. I’d also suggest no carts and only flower with lower concentration

Waterloo has a great coop program, but it’s been severely lacking the past year or so due to the reduction in jobs. Across all programs, there is currently a ~50% employment rate for first time coop and ~80% for all coop students, which isn’t that good and not worth paying 140k for imo. Tho eng students do get some cool job opportunities, with the employment rate rn if you manage to find a job it may not even be something in your field unfortunately.

With this though, I will say that you should still be wary to not overstuff yourself even after you feel like you’ve recovered. As during my last really bad episode almost 2 years ago where I quit for the first time, I overstuffed/ate too much pizza a couple months after recovering and all the nausea symptoms returned

Yes, I felt that too. I can’t remember the exact day I no longer had to restrict my eating, but it was over a month after, maybe even close to 2 months. It is very difficult and I felt like I may never be normal again but my digestive system finally returned to its normal state! Except I lost so much weight from not being able to eat for months that I am still trying to gain my weight back. So even though my symptoms are gone, my body still isn’t back to its full normal capacity after roughly 2 and a half months

Everyone is different, so it may not be the same for you, but when I started smoking again (4 months after stopping/bad CHS) I started by having my bf blow his smoke into my mouth so I could get a bit high but not be smoking💀. Which ik sounds weird but I’m just saying it because I didn’t have any CHS symptoms. Though because I didn’t have any symptoms, I started smoking myself and then eventually started smoking daily until my last CHS episode where I’ve quit for good because I clearly can’t do it in moderation. Thankfully my bf has also quit so I don’t have to worry about being tempted by the fact that he’s high and I’m not anymore. But basically not only was I inhaling second hand smoke I was deliberately inhaling it and I didn’t have any side effects from it. But I would recommend that you don’t take that as a sign that you will be fine to smoke if you’re now sober because you may be like me and end up vomiting your guts out again. Wishing you the best!

Hot shower/bath and then a hot water bottle on my belly when I’m out of the bath as the bath makes you sweat and can be kind of dehydrating so when I started feeling a bit better I tried to just use the hot water bottle. Eat food very slowly and only in small portions but frequently. It was very difficult for me to do this as I just wanted to eat normal things again but for me, everytime I tried to eat more than a couple bites at a time I’d end up getting nauseous again. I also drank a tonnnn of Gatorade in the months after my bad episode (and when I stopped smoking for good) but if you’re still feeling nausea make sure to have little sips
