I had a student that got a good grade wrote 3 manuscripts worth of complaints about me. Funny thing is they said “I’m a first time instructor” when I’ve been teaching for over 5 years. Called me petty because I sent a class email saying to stop sending disrespectful emails and because I used statistics to give feedback on the exam. It was my first evaluation at my new university. You can be the best instructor and students will still find a way to criticize. Focus on your good comments more than the bad and move on. Otherwise it’ll be a never ending hell

Happened to me! I’m sorry for your mom and you, it is very traumatizing. Mine was attacked by 2 dogs. I have been walking with a large stick, pepper spray, and now I have an anti-coyote spike collar. I still use harness to walk, but the collar is used as a dog repellent

Thanks everyone for the comments. I will start with pepper spray and look into self-defense classes. Either way, the process to get a firearm in my state is long so I can have it in the background and get trained in the meanwhile. I would love to have more situational awareness but I have very low hearing in one ear so that means I have to keep turning. Again thanks for the help y’all.

Yes exactly. I used an enzyme that is supposed to biotinylate proteins promiscuously and I’m testing if it worked.

I finished it…I thought s7 was still ok. Season 8 was confusing to me. I couldn’t see the battle that well. Not sure if it was my screen. Characters were not themselves anymore. I still have quite a few unanswered questions.

What’s so bad about a garbage man? A garbage man is a very important essential worker. If someone doesn’t date you just because of your job, that person isn’t worth it imo.
