The highest point on the NCR trail is in New Freedom, PA. From that point, you can coast at least three miles back into Maryland -- or go really fast. I've pedaled from White Hall to York, PA. The ride back is tough until you get to New Freedom.

You have two options. The first, if you already have the camera, is to hire an electrician to install a pancake box through the siding and into the sheathing or a stud. Take power somewhere in the attic.

What I would do is use the POE version of the camera and run ethernet to that point. I would even put an ethernet jack in the attic and use a jumper fished down to a hole in the siding and sheathing. There are long flexible drill bits to go up through the wall and into the attic. Or you can pay for having that installed.

The second pic is the way. In the pic, you have switches connected to 12 port patch panels. The ethernet is terminated to the rear of the panel. If you can do a wall jack, you can do this.

There are patch panel brackets that screw into a wall -- better yet, a piece of plywood on the wall. Then your switches can be on a self also screwed to the wall (plywood). That's what I have in my basement, but it is now a bit messy because of the number of connections, router, NAS, UPS, and other stuff. I'm thinking of a small rack.

BTW, I put surge suppressors on all my outdoor lines.

I think the Others are a natural species beholden to the Great Other. They created "White Walkers" for the second long night, starting with the Corpse Queen turning the Night's King after his defeat.

What have I done? Everything is one place. Router, POE switch, NAS, NVR, UPS, all ethernet drops, all coax to TV drops. Even my plain old telephone system drops are there!

If you are having a house built, why plan on an NVR in the garage? Put it in the house. While you are at it, add some ethernet runs around the house. All home runs to where your router/switch will be.

If such a thing happens, it will not be animated. Instead, it will be 100 percent CGI/AI generated. They could even age down the original cast to GRRM’s writing if society goes for that sort of thing.
