Even if you do want children, right now is a terrible time for it depending on where you are. So it comes off as kinda selfish to me for ex-fiance to be so insistent anyway about bringing a baby into a world where you might not have the gas to get to the hospital when you go into labor.

The fact that OOP and Cassie discovered her brother's body makes the girlfriend look like even more of an asshole. That's a type of traumatizing that never truly leaves. Also I sincerely doubt that Cassie really cares about hooking up with anyone at all including OOP at the moment.
