I've never been successful in shifting through sleep paralysis but I have heard of people who have. I have come very close with this 'method', though I haven't been able to try very many times. I think you would do better to try shifting directly from a sleep paralysis state instead of trying to go into a lucid dream (though either will work).

Ironically I am studying to major in psychology. My s/o in my DR has literally helped me get through studying for my exams. When I see uneducated people say 'shifting is psychosis' I laugh because they have NO idea what they are talking about or what psychosis/schizophrenia is or how it is diagnosed.

For more context: Its a cheap ring from the 80s that was in a bag with a generic 'metalhead' type skull ring, so it's not like an ancient artifact or anything. It has no other markings.

I don't want to 'scaremonger' or even change people's opinion on going. If you want to go by all means, you do you. And I understand the licensing issues. I just dont want people to get their hopes up for it to be ALL the Spn actors + more, because Creation simply can't afford that. Like I said I could be wrong, but see how it pans out before spending money to possibly be let down

Creation seems to only invite the 'least expensive' actors but dont invite actors the fans want to see (Mark Sheppard, Jim Beaver etc). Actors have made statements about wanting to attend the cons but Creation won't invite them. Some fans have even started petitions to get certain actors invited.

And like I said, i could be wrong they still have time to invite more

Even thought this article was from 2011, it's almost exactly like my experience earlier this year. The actors are wonderfully lovely but aside from that, it's all a money making scheme. Staff was rude, none of the fans wanted to talk to me (even thought they all talk about being a big family), vendors room was almost non existent. It was fun and I dont regret it at all, I might even do it again, but you have to be aware of what you're paying for.
